In 1993, we took a risk and realized one of our dreams by starting Peterson Trailers. Back then, many of the boat trailers on the market were steel trailers, which were fine for fresh water, but not so great for salt water! As avid boaters, we saw a real need for an aluminum boat trailer that could hold up the harsh salt water environment. Our reputation quickly caught on and soon Peterson Trailers became the trailer of choice for many local boat manufacturers and dealers. Although initially the company was small, we strongly believed in its potential and knew that with perseverance, it would ultimately be successful. Since that time, our growth has been impressive. We have now expanded outside of the US market and are now exporting our aluminum trailers throughout the world, particularly Europe and Australia. We specialize in Australian-compliant boat trailers.
